| "Express Nature, International Pressed Plants Postcard Competition" |

A postcard competition was held in Takayama village, Nagano and the judging took place on September 1, 2001. The theme was "Stories with Pressed Plants", create a scene from a fairly tale, old tale, etc. The total entries were 840, including 15 elementary and junior high schools and 48 overseas entries. Japanese old tales and overseas famous stories were described with pressed flowers. Including two Grand Prix, 59 prizes were presented in total. Some schools were commended as a group unit.
